SNO Framework for WordPress
All three of our design templates are built on the same code base and have the same functionality –– they provide you with the framework to individualize your WordPress site. With our highly customizable themes (each with 6 column configuration choices, 4 homepage widget areas, 7 widget styles, and customizable widget displays), you can achieve hundreds of possible looks with each design template.
As you look at the templates, it helps to look at the overall shape of the website’s “containers” — look at the background, the positioning and style of the navigation bars (although these can be changed too), header bars, and footer styles. Remember that the widget styles on each of the designs can also be displayed on the other designs as well.
Gazette is designed with more white space in the main body of the site and with color swatches that stretch off to the far edges of your browser window. Gazette is also built with a colored area behind the Top Stories box that can be set to any color (including white).
Herald and Enterprise have a defined right and left edge; Herald has a drop shadow around it and Enterprise is built with a gradient background. Herald and Enterprise also have the option of adding a custom image or patterned background.
The Top Stories box on the current versions of our designs is identical on all three templates — there are two possible widths for the Top Stories box, and two possible styles. In addition, you can control all aspects of the appearance of this box (length of teaser, navigation buttons, transition type, transition speed, slide duration).
